Strategy Overview

The deck focuses on utilizing "Mind Shuffle" in order to perform its resource loop, as well as swap between its two key play-makers: "Black Luster Soldier - Soldier of Light and Darkness" and "Magician of Dark Chaos - Black Chaos". "Skull Archfiend of Chaos" is used as the discard for "Mind Shuffle" in order to access the "Light and Darkness Ritual" itself. As such is is very important for the deck to be able to access "Mind Shuffle" via "Griffoh", who allows it to be used the turn it is set by its effect.

Notable external starters that access "Griffoh" while also having additional benefits include:

"Kuriboh - Multiply!": Who can access "Griffoh" on the opponent's turn, thus allowing the deck to begin setting up even if the opponent goes first.

"Fallen of the White Dragon": Which summons itself and "Incredible Ecclesia, the Virtuous" by sending "Albion the Branded Dragon" (and thus setting "The Fallen & The Virtuous"), with the two then being used to Synchro Summon "The Crimson King" - who adds "Crimson Call" which in turn adds "Griffoh". "Crimson King" also floats into a strengthened "Red Dragon Archfiend".
